- The heat generated during normal operation will evaporate any condensation that has formed

Road salt is one of the most damaging things for vehicle electrical connections. It accelerates corrosion on exposed terminals and connector pins — leading to intermittent failures, flickering, or complete loss of function.
Before winter, inspect:
- Headlight and tail light connector pins for green or white corrosion buildup
- Any exposed wiring or terminals near wheel wells or the underside of the vehicle
- Ground connections, which are particularly vulnerable to salt corrosion
To protect connections:
