The EVO J3 is J.W. Speaker's most advanced Jeep JK LED headlight — featuring a built-in turn signal, Daytime Running Light (DRL), and Bluetooth control via the J-Link app. Installation is fully plug-and-play and takes most owners under 20 minutes.
Before You Start
Compatible vehicles:
- 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK
- 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited
⚠️ 2017 JK owners: If your Wrangler came with factory LED headlights, you will need an additional mounting ring kit before installing. Check your trim level before beginning.
Tools needed: Basic hand tools (screwdriver, socket set). No wiring modifications required.

Step-by-Step Installation
Step 1 — Remove the Factory Headlights
- Open the hood and remove the grille by releasing the retaining clips
- Unscrew the headlight retaining ring or mounting hardware
- Disconnect the factory headlight connector
Step 2 — Connect the EVO J3 Harness
- Plug the EVO J3 wire harness into the factory H13 connector — you will hear and feel a firm click when fully seated
- Ensure both ends of the harness are locked in position
- Route the harness away from any moving parts or heat sources
Step 3 — Seat and Secure the Headlight
- Insert the EVO J3 into the headlight bucket
- Secure with the retaining hardware
- Reinstall the grille
Step 4 — Test All Functions
Before closing up, confirm all five functions are working:
