Step-by-Step Overview
Step 1 — Choose Your Mounting Location
Common mounting locations include:
- A-pillar mounts — wide coverage across the trail ahead
- Bumper mounts — low and forward-facing for obstacle spotting
- Hood mounts — broad overhead coverage
Pick the location that best suits how you use your Jeep, ATV, or UTV. The Trail 6 comes with bracket options to suit most common mounting positions.
Step 2 — Mount the Bracket and Light
- Attach the bracket to your chosen mounting point
- Secure the Trail 6 light to the bracket
- Confirm there is no movement or vibration before wiring
Step 3 — Wire to Vehicle Power
- Run the wiring harness to a switched power source
- Connect to your vehicle's battery or auxiliary switch panel
