#### A Few Things You Need to Know
**Keep your receipt.** Your warranty runs from the original purchase date. No receipt makes it harder to confirm coverage — hold onto it.
**Do not open the housing.** If you open the headlight housing for any reason, the factory seal is broken and the warranty is void. If something looks wrong inside the light, take it to your dealer with the housing sealed — do not try to investigate it yourself.
**Amazon and eBay purchases are not covered.** JW Speaker does not authorize sales through Amazon, eBay, or any third-party marketplace. Products bought through those channels are not covered by warranty — full stop. To make sure your purchase is protected, always buy from jwspeaker.com or an authorized dealer.

#### Why Is the Warranty Shorter on Heated Models?
SmartHeat headlights include additional components — a heating grid and a temperature sensor — that are not in a standard LED headlight. The 2-year warranty on heated models reflects the added complexity of those components and is consistent with industry standards for heated lighting products.
